Organised a fish and chip evening for my elderly neighbours in the communal lounge of our block of flats Helen was super friendly, the food was ready for collection on time and the child portions much larger than expected. Most have used China Chef before. All enjoyed their meal and would use again..

The China Chef in Royal Wootton Bassett is simply one of the best Fish Chip shops in Wiltshire and beyond. Helen and Kam run a clean , efficient and friendly business and display a real warmth towards all their customers. The food is always excellent and great value, especially when you see the size of the regular Cod! A visit here is highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing staff, they always remember your name and smile every time you walk in or simply walk past, the food is absolutely outstanding, best in Wiltshire. And the service is 100% as they are super friendly and also have me free tartar sauce for my birthday so what more do you need. Get in. Get ordering.

Really friendly owners, and of course great food 10/10. The service is helpful And accommodating with little chats and friendly interactions. The food is obviously great and the curry sauce especially is perfect.

We were travelling back from Calne to Windsor Berkshire Thursday 24th August in the evening and saw this take away so decided to pull over. The service was excellent and the couple were so friendly and polite. The battered sausage and chips were the best we have tasted in a very long time. We had a lovely chat whilst the meal was being wrapped up and learned that this family have been running this take away for over 40 years in Royal Wootton Bassett. I was given the telephone number in case I ever needed to pre-order my meal on the way through in the future. China Chef are a well established take away and I cannot fault the food, it was really tasty and piping hot, adding service with a smile and genuine niceness made the visit so worth while!!
