Costa Coffee - Wiltshire

There was a huge queue when we arrived, the Primark had just opened across the square. The queue moved steadily, and I was soon served . Unfortunately, my drink was wrong , but it was soon rectified. The lattes were both hot, and mine with oat milk was creamy. Efficient and friendly staff.

I've given a one star rating with no reflection of the staff or service but in an attempt that the organisation who owns costa takes note went in today Sunday 10th September around 9am it was like walking into a sauna the staff were actually sweating ! I live in Salisbury and use this costa several time a week and the air con has been broken for weeks while we are having a heatwave, to the Costa operators please look after your staff!! You've a great team there who always work hard and serve a great coffee do your part and whilst I'm commenting you've had a window boarded up for months not a good look especially when Primark opens soon you charge enough for your coffees etc (prices went up again last week) now do your part and invest some of your profit back into this store!

After a couple of hours around Salisbury we decided to get a coffee and wait for friends. First impressions were not good with a 'boarded up ' smashed front window. Inside we found a table (with wallpaper hanging off the wall behind us) and ordered coffee. The coffee was fine so we put up with the in need of re furbishment decor, but when we visited the toilets before leaving we were appalled I wonder if Costa ever check that their franchises are up to standard?

Wasn't busy for a Sunday, maybe because it was so hot. We ordered mango and passion fruit smoothies which were very refreshing. I had a lemon and blueberry cake that was delicious and my friend had the carrot cake.

After walking around Salisbury for several hours we felt in need of a coffee and passing here we decided to pop-in. The café was busy and I went off to grab a table whilst my Partner queued for two medium sized Americano’s with hot milk. It wasn’t long before my Partner returned with our coffees. I don’t recall the last time we had coffee at ‘a Costa’, but the medium size was most generous, in fact I would say they were large cups. I would say the next size up would be more akin to a potty. The coffee was ‘OK’ – it was hot and it tasted of coffee, but it lacked the bitter rich taste that we both look to experience, as in our favourite coffee shops. On past occasions over the years we had favoured Costa for it’s really good coffee, but it has definitely become very ordinary.
