Where on earth you begin to describe the inner of this pub. it must be the strangest pub I was in. the strange starts from the moment in which they walk in the door and the inner is simply fabulous bizarre. it's almost as if someone promised was shed and we loved it. eating was really nice and in some way totally odd with the environment. my wife had laughs that were boiled to perfection, and I had the chicken and mushroom cake and maic that was also excellent. we had both sticky toffee pudding that adapted the quality of the net. the service was first class. the pub was busy. I understand that it has recently been reopened with new peculiarities and I think that we really had luck visiting the opposite and had the opportunity to eat there. if they want unusual environment and first-class eating and they are in the corsham area, then they will take the opportunity to visit the Flemish weaver, they will not be disappointed
Re opened under new management and the improvement is already noticeable, not least by how much busier the place is. Nate and Kirsty have done a fabulous job of decluttering and reorganising the interior to produce a fine, cosy pub. Great selection of beer on tap...including Young's and Bass. And there's a good menu of pub classics to cater for the hungry the Sunday roasts are already becoming very popular. This is a gorgeous pub in a superb location. Highly recommended.
I ordered the beef bourguignon for £16, and what I received was bland boiled beef and carrots swimming in a colorless broth. This was nothing like the traditional dish, which should feature beef and onions in a rich wine sauce. When I went to pay, I mentioned that I wasn’t complaining, but the dish was not as described on the very limited menu. I pointed out that the rather overworked manager should be cautious, as others might consider this a violation of the trades description act. He didn't respond, which was disappointing. It's a pity, but I won’t be returning; they really need to improve!
Pleasant Sunday lunch.Decent used portions and tasty meat and Yorkshire puddings. Vegetables were not bad but could be presented rathe more finesse and perhaps a slightly wider range of options. Friendly pub with good selection of real ales and not a bad choice if you...are in the area.
