Delivery usually takes about an hour, but we save time by preordering online. The ordering process is simple and user-friendly, with a search feature to find specific dishes quickly. You can even leave a special request with each dish, such as requesting a curry at Vindaloo strength. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The lamb is especially flavorful and always tender. The delivery drivers provide excellent service, always being friendly and polite. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mijan, who is clearly dedicated to providing the highest quality food and service to his customers. I highly recommend Ganges Indian Cuisine restaurant.
I ordered takeout from Ganges and it turned out to be a terrible experience. We got a simple meal with chicken korma, chicken tikka, rice, and naan bread. Unfortunately, my korma didn't taste good, but we were hungry after being out all day. Four hours later, I experienced violent vomiting for almost five hours, indicating that the food was the cause. I will not be going back to Ganges and I caution others to be cautious about ordering from them.
We used to dine at this restaurant regularly for many years, but recently switched to Chilli's as we found it to be superior. Unfortunately, Chilli's has declined in quality, so we have visited the Ganges three times this year. The food is decent but nothing special. The atmosphere is quieter than it used to be, and we believe the restaurant could attract more customers if they stepped up their game. The Poppadoms seemed stale, and the onion bhajis were the worst we have ever had - overcooked and of poor quality. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the menu is extensive. Overall, there is room for improvement at this restaurant.

We came here as a last resort. We were staying at a B&B and looking for a pub meal, but running out of options (either not doing food or hadn't got a table), it was raining, we were hungry and Ganges had a table... Good start some dishes on the menu that were new to us (along with the usual ones). Poppadums fresh, warm and crispy. I had coconut lamb it actually tasted of toasted coconut and the lamb beautifully tender and lean. My other half was similarly impressed with his tandoori chicken and minced lamb. Decent portion sizes. Service was good and friendly. Price very reasonable. Yes, they add the service charge on, but they earned it and it saved finding change. We've been to many Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants in our time, but generally they never come close to our usual one at home. However, Ganges is a close second. We left feeling very pleased that those 2 pubs turned us away!
