Ocean Traditional Fish Chips

This small fish and chip shop is fantastic! The food is freshly cooked and great value for money. The owner is brilliant. As someone who has been eating at fish and chip shops for almost 50 years in the southwest, this shop now ranks in my top 10. It was my first visit and I was very impressed.

The waiter was friendly and attentive, it was a nice touch for him to offer to season my food with salt and vinegar. The fries were excellent – crispy, not overly thick, and seemed freshly cooked. I wish I lived closer so I could become a regular guest at this restaurant!

I thoroughly enjoyed my large order of fish and chips at this restaurant. The chips were cooked perfectly, and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place to everyone, as the atmosphere is inviting and clean. Don't hesitate to visit and try the delicious food for yourself.

What an astonishing part of cod and chips. the best I ever had. they must expect to order the food cooked, which is not long to be fair. they will not be disappointed. huge portioning, lovely sprinkle, perfect chips. all served by a friendly chip shop owner who needs some more locals to keep him open. we were through, and took a way around because dilton chip shop has the best reviews in the opposite. it was worth the ride and the short wait for freshly cooked food.

Took a while to get our food (because everything was cooked fresh) but was very tasty. Not too greasy and the scampi and fish had a lot of flavour. Staff were friendly and generous with their portions.
