We organized a customized menu for a special event for a group of 12 people, including 4 children. The entire experience was flawless and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The table was set beautifully in the charming dining room next to the cozy fireplace, and all the dishes were exceptional and beautifully presented. The children's meals were generous and of good quality, which is not always the case when dining out. The service was also exceptional (special thanks to Amy) - attentive and efficient without feeling rushed. A big thank you to all the staff who made our day feel truly special.

We had an incredible Sunday lunch at this restaurant. We've been to many pubs in the area, and this one is definitely the best. The staff are very friendly, and we appreciate that they allow dogs in all areas.

We stayed a night in this lovely 16th Century Coaching in. Food was fantastic and the quaintness and atmosphere charming. Amy went above and beyond to make us welcome. We had a comfortable nights sleep in room 3. The floor is uneven, but only adds to the charm of this very old inn. We had our two little dogs with us. We brought their own dog beds as there were none provided in the room and also brought their own dog bowls. We had the continental breakfast in the morning as had an early start which was lovely. The garden is lovely also and the potting shed a lovely place to sit and just chill. A big thank you to Amy for everything she did during our stay.

Delicious food, delivered well on a unique and excellent menu. Specialising in sea food from Cornwall but actually the broader menu is just as good. Its easy to see why people come from outside the local area to dine. This is a great place to have a special evening out with family, loved ones or for a celebration. The staff are very attentive and everything is delivered to very high standards. Two words sum it up First class!

I have to say that this is by far the best stay I have had in a very long time, the food, staff and rooms are second to none. They couldn't do enough for me, cosy inviting restaurant, fantastic fresh food, served by friendly knowledgeable staff. The hotel room was delightful, large room with everything you could need for a home away from home. I cannot recommend this place enough!
