However, during my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the service had greatly improved. The food, while not terrible, was average at best. There were plenty of options on the menu, but the quality was lacking. The chicken was overcooked, the rolls were dry, and the chips were just okay. It seems that many reviews share my sentiment that the food is simply "average," and I wholeheartedly agree.
Child's chickenburger, who was a tiny chicken and only a bungalow. eating is nothing special and quiet price money.
Beautiful ambiente and beautiful garden, but eating was below average and expensive with two pieces of fat bark, a carrot, a doll of undercooked cauliflower with the strange brunette, doll of cauliflower with leather cheese and two bratkartoffels that drown like gum all. in gravy gluten free, so could not yorkshire pudding, but really do not think I missed a lot.
We went as a big family party and had ordered our food. Nevertheless, we have waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. the frying were in order, but most of the party were unimpressed....One of the food was hotter luke warm. before, no one served our table so that after some time we asked about the bar to order drinks and were told to wait and some would be over. we waited again and then it was a few minutes from the order that our drinks actually arrived. dessert was another long waiting period and we were not offered any further drinks, nor asked how our meals were. all in all it was hours for a main course and dessert. the cheesecakes were a strange texture and not recommended. would not pay this price for mediocre eating and lack of service again, which is regrettable how the location and environment sites are wonderful.
The ambiance was nice, with beautiful surroundings and a lovely setting on a sunny Friday. However, the food was average. We ordered from the lunch menu but they were out of mussels and another option I can't recall. They also ran out of corn on the cob for the spare ribs, which wasn't a big issue. They offered a side salad instead but failed to bring it to us. The ham, egg, and chips were mediocre. The wine was overpriced. The fish and chips were the best option. Despite having friendly staff, the restaurant could have been better. We appreciate the manager for reducing our bill. Overall, there is room for improvement.
