The Green Dragon - Wiltshire

This restaurant is truly exceptional, as evidenced by the glowing reviews it has received. I was served a delicious prawn and crayfish pasta dish, with homemade pasta and bread, all prepared fresh. The owner must truly care about quality, given the quantity and freshness of the seafood. The dish was complemented by a flavorful sauce with fresh tomatoes and a rocket salad. The service was attentive, with a staff member offering me iced water with lemon and boxing up leftovers. Despite visiting on a Tuesday for an early lunch, the menu had a great selection. The picturesque garden offered a lovely view of south Wiltshire, complete with birds and butterflies. I can't wait to return to try their pies and fish of the day - don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience!

We had a fantastic dining experience at The Green Dragon this evening. The portions were very generous and the prices were excellent. Victoria was incredibly helpful and had a great sense of humor. She went above and beyond to ensure our meal was enjoyable. You definitely won't leave hungry after dining here. I ordered the large king prawn and crayfish linguine, followed by a delightful Eton Mess dessert.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem on our way to North Somerset. The 14th century pub served delicious homemade food at very reasonable prices, especially considering the generous portions. The staff made us feel extremely welcome. A 5-star experience for us!

Gone are the days of service and effort. Our server came to the table with our drinks and just left the tray there with a grunt. The vegetarian roast came with boiled potatoes instead of the advertised roasties. And...wait for it...the Yorkshire had also made a disappearance. When asking staff just responded oh we 've run out . My apple and blackberry crumble took me back to school dinner days. I particularly liked the presentation which was submerged in custard so thick not even the straws on the left tray could help me. Glad we made a visit so we know to avoid this place in future.

Charming C16 building. Food all homecooked and delicious, very dog friendly in the bar area and lots of doggy treats which was a nice touch. Good beer and welcoming and attentive service.
