I enjoyed the pork chop with grits and some perfectly made pancakes, while my husband opted for a meat-lover's dish. Everything was incredibly delicious, and our server was both welcoming and attentive. We passed by Purcellville, and two other diners were closed on Wednesday, but we’re glad they were because Granny’s turned out to be a delightful find!
This charming family-owned restaurant takes you back to the good old days. My favorite dish is Gary's breakfast bowls, which are served all day long. Wendy's service is consistently warm and laid-back. On Wednesdays, they sometimes host live music with local artists, including a fantastic performer named Duffy, who plays beautiful country, folk, and pop songs for three hours straight. Occasionally, this is complemented by an accomplished violinist named Teri and another guitarist.
This charming little spot is perfect for a home-cooked breakfast. The homemade fritters are amazing, and the omelets are truly delicious. Food: 5/5
Pancakes were good, coffee okay, but the roasted steak was the worst thing I ever had. The land engraving was slimy. Scrabble eggs were okay at home potatoes need to be cooked more.
While both of our entire meals were amazing, the hash brown potatoes were the highlight of the dishes! Major kudos to Gary, Jessica and the kitchen helper for making our holiday brunch a most memorable one! Happy Holidays to all!!
