We went today, not the first time, to meet our friend for drinks and food. We like to sit at the bar. Jen was tending bar. The service was exceptional and she is friendly and very entertaining. The lobster roll and prime rib sandwich were to die for! Can't wait to return. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

We ordered a burger and a rueben burger was way over cooked and the rueben was dry as well servers were good food came out in a timely manner

This is a charming old-fashioned New England Inn that I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area. The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable to stay in while also being pretty reasonably priced. A hot breakfast cooked to order is included in the room rate that far exceeds the typical continental breakfast you find in most hotels. The quality of the breakfast is equivalent to what you would expect in any nice breakfast restaurant so I feel it really adds to the value of the price you are paying in the room. We ate dinner in the tavern the night we stayed and the food and service were excellent. The only complaint was that the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen because they were very busy that night. Overall we were very happy with our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to book a room here again if we are ever in the area.
