Alfred's Bar Restaurant - Winchester

One night. eating was very well cooked and presented when it finally appeared. but the service was really bad. waited for an hour for a court, we had to keep track of the waiters, as no one would update. we have a whisper that didn't want to wait another hour.

Pleasant, but unnoticed restaurant (dress serviettes without tablecloth). all employees were pleasant and attentive, but despite this we waited an hour for our food (no starter and two burgers). something strange went on, as we did not wait the only table, I complained after almost an hour and got a free olive and breadcrumbs, then quickly afterwards the food appeared waiting for everyone.

When we personally showed up to get space, we were told that there was a 1 hour 15 minutes waiting, but when we booked through the app, we were sitting in 15 minutes. neither the personal showed a surprise or call. as the restaurant the fish stank, really strong fish smell about its best, plus there were flies around. we left the restaurant without eating and will not return.

Unfortunately we didn't cost our meal at all. there was no bread to accompany our olives for our starter. my man had to wait over 40 minutes for his head when it arrived the duck was very chewy had already finished my chicken dish, which was also chewy. the waiter was apologetic offered him a free drink. the waiters could not speak English and were not friendly. the bar area was very cold and they had no beer. no pleasant experience for our 10-year anniversary.

Lovely food but staff were all very preoccupied. Had to order a round of drinks three times before getting them.
