The Running Horse - Winchester

The restaurant implemented good Covid precautions and the dining area was arranged well to promote social distancing. The food was excellent, especially the high-quality beef. The service was attentive and prompt, and we enjoyed the lack of excessive noise.

The mushroom croquettes had a Georgian flair, while the Succulent Steak was served with delicious double-fried chips.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is good. The new large teepee seating area is impressive. However, I am a bit uncertain about the hot air blow system. It was convenient for us to be seated next to the outlet, but circulating hot air may not be ideal currently. Perhaps the restaurant should consider using infrared heaters instead.

Lovely food. A bit claustrophobic due to the screens which gave us little space to move but understandable. Staff were lovely and service good
