The Square Cow - Winchester

I enjoyed a late breakfast at this restaurant with my friends. Even though we arrived just as breakfast service was ending, the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to order from the breakfast menu. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked and deliciously filling. The coffee lived up to its reputation as well. The pub has a charming old-fashioned feel to it and the staff provided friendly and excellent service. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This local pub is incredibly welcoming, offering a variety of real ales, a great selection of drinks including low/no alcohol options, but the highlight is definitely the food. The Sunday roasts are exceptional - the meat is tender and flavorful, the roast potatoes are crispy and delicious, and the Yorkshire puddings are enormous. The gravy and homemade horseradish sauce complemented the meal perfectly. Conor provided excellent service, taking care of all 11 of us in our party. We pre-ordered our meals and they all arrived piping hot at the same time. We will definitely be returning to this pub again!

My highly anticipated first visit did not disappoint! The cosy, quirky interior and welcoming team give this place a really special atmosphere. That, together with a great selection of wines, beers and gins makes this a fantastic venue! I look forward to my next visit.
