Beaches Bar & Grill - Windermere

I don't know why someone here would complain about the staff. The people who work here are an absolute joy and sociable. Too bad we didn't get the chance to say goodbye to the staff who looked at us most evenings and knew I was pouring a Chardonnay when we came in. For us two older Brits, they were engaged and very pleasant. Food was very well appreciated, entertainment excellent, especially when Aaron Saxon was on. The food is great with generous portions, the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. In the evenings, you can enjoy talented entertainment for a fun night out.

We visited this restaurant tonight with a group of 16. We met the roughest staff we met in all our years of travel in every restaurant around the world and especially since our trip to Australia 3 weeks ago. We were the third couple to order our meal from our group of 16. Finally, we noticed that people who had ordered long after us had received their meals (same meal of fish and chips). We went upstairs to check, thought maybe our order was missed. The girl in the money got a man, probably the manager. He went to check the meal and came back to say that our order was not inappropriately long time. We told him the others had ordered later and had already got their meal. His first answers were to say “advertising on himself, not others”. He then said, "You Americans are all the same." I answered that I am not an American, I am a Canadian. To whom he said, “This is just as bad. ‘. At this point my summer went out to show that my food was ready. I said, "My food is ready, I can just have my food." His answers were “now you will wait longer”. Not only was he rude, I felt threatened and circumcised by him. He obviously has a difference for Americans and Canadians. I would never recommend to go back to this place or anyone else to go there. And also the food was terrible.

Great place for lunch super fast service and friendly staff, we had fish Calamari chips and salad with a free beer under $20
