I had to find out by myself if their eisbein,s were as good as they said and they did not disappoint. It was delicious. Interesting environment. It is a must.
A very interesting restaurant with peculiar decor. Owner must have gathered a lot of stuff to display and made this a place to wonder around to see all the old goods on display. Food was delicious. And Beer excellent
Tourist attraction with varied array and type of customers. Definitely reserve a table. You will not be bored with looking at the decorations. The vehicle license plate is a great tourist momento.
Although an institution in Windhoek, I left Joe's Beerhouse with mixed feelings when I was there with my group. On the positive side, the location, the concept, the decoration are cool and still great. Service is satisfactory although a bit disorganized. Some waiters are alert, others are asleep . Overall good but room for improvement. Food was only satisfactory ... actually a bit disappointing in a world where the art of cooking progresses and refines! It feels like the chefs are tired and bored ... time to bring in some Master Chef skills to express the wonders of the excellent ingredients used ... the ingredients are great but they need more TLC in actual cooking. Overall I would say that it feels like Covid crisis has resulted in management and staff not to keep their guard up ... and with the gloves down so the speak, one takes punches!!!
