We had a beautiful dinner at LOVER!It was SO VIBEY! I loved the ambiance of this place and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.The cocktails were gorgeous in taste and presentation. We had the feed me with dessert included $75 each) and enjoyed the share meals and main we were presented with. A bit pricey however there is quite a few dishes in the one feed me and you get dessert so it’s well worth it if you want an experience across their menu. If you don’t want desserts or as much to eat I’ll go with the smaller feed me at $55.

Went to LOVER tonight. Considering the reviews, we were very underwhelmed. Order 2 cocktails. The Albert Park was very sweet and got quite sickly. The Yuzu sour didn't taste like Yuzu at all and was a dark reddish purple colour. The table next to us ordered one near the end of our meal and it was a completely different colour, light orange. Someone stuffed up one of them and I think it was ours.We ordered the flathead ceviche which had about 2 teaspoons of fish on it. Flavour was nice but super small. The beef tartare was very acidic and it almost burnt your mouth. The cured egg yolk was nice, but needed to be in smaller dollops because it was very hard to spread out. It wasn't enough to counteract the acid. Not a nice dish.The bread was nice, nothing flash. The smoked butter had a bit of an odd flavour and could have used more salt.The duck was nice. It also didn't need the morcilla. It didn't pair with the rest of the dish and actually overpowered the duck.Overall, nothing amazing, bit pricey for average, unbalanced food.

Amazing food, perfect service from Alannah, couldn't have been more helpful, her recommendations were outstanding. Thank you for a lovely dining experience. 10/10 recommend.

Best service I’ve had in a very long time. Outstanding cocktails. Highly recommend the set menu!
