Last night, my sons, their girlfriends, my husband, and I went to Susie Wong to celebrate my birthday. I absolutely love the food here - the service was great and the Asian dishes were delicious! We opted for the six-course set menu at $65 per person, which was really filling and offered a nice variety. They served us their most popular dishes, including wontons, chicken curry, and crab fried rice - my personal favorite. The maitre d' was super friendly, and we even got a 10% discount for being St Kilda members (AFL), which was a nice bonus. The only criticism I have is that it was a bit dark and the atmosphere wasn't as lively as it has been in the past, but it was raining and freezing outside.

We were able to dine at this restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation and were intrigued by the menu. While there were limited vegetarian choices, the non-vegetarian dishes were hearty and tasty. The appetizers and starters may be small for their price, but the main courses were flavorful and generous in size.
