Despite there being three staff members behind the counter chatting amongst themselves, there was no table service. Customers have to take a menu and order at the counter. Our party of three ordered our food, but it arrived at the table at different times, with usually only one item coming out at a time. The bill came out to £75 for three breakfasts, two coffees, and two juices, which we found to be quite expensive for the level of service provided, even by Sunningdale standards. Additionally, the quality of the food was only average.
We are regular customers here because the food is always consistently good. It’s great to have somewhere to have lunch where everything is healthy and natural. Nice friendly team as well.
After reading some of the previous reviews, I realize that my opinion may be different from others, but I can only share my own experience. I had never been to this restaurant before, but I had arranged to meet a group of friends for lunch. When I arrived, I couldn't find them at any of the tables. I briefly considered that I had the wrong day, but after double-checking my diary, I confirmed that I was on time. Upon re-entering the restaurant, I discovered that my friends were seated in a hidden area at the back of the restaurant. We had already placed our lunch orders as a group, but I was surprised to find out that the vegetable quiche we had pre-ordered had run out and more had to be made. It took a while for the quiche to arrive, and by then, most of our party had already started their meals. The presentation of the quiche was odd, with only a few slices spread out on a large plate. The salads that came with it were average, with the kale being more enjoyable than the rice and quinoa salad. The overall experience was not worth the £18 bill, and the service was lacking. Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment.
I only went for coffee, but it seems like a great discovery. The food looked delicious, and the aroma in the restaurant was really pleasant!
Came here by chance as we were at a Jo Downs workshop 2 doors down. The food was gorgeous, beautifully home cooked and creative lots of veggie options. The atmosphere lovely too. Nothing was too much for the staff so friendly. Fab coffee too!
