Village Grill - Windsor and Maidenhead

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Very good food and friendly. Had the chicken and chips. Nice experience. Easy to park as well right outside

I had a take away kebab, the meat was cold and dry, YUCK. Threw it away. Give this place a miss I suggest

I have ordered from this place a couple of times as it is on just eat thought it was quick and easy using the app. this has been nothing but disappointment each time we have ordered, lets start with the order its never been right the drinks are never what we ordered eg: diet coke then get given pipsi no good to a type 1 diabetic they have said they will refund the money in my account never got a penny, the chips r always soggy and cold and the deliver well when it says its on its way a 12 minute drive takes them 45 to an hour the last time I ordered thought give them another go, well I wish I didn't the delivery driver I gave him the money and said can I have my change he looked at the bill and convinced me I got it wrong and I paid already on line thinking I pressed the wrong button when I was sure I said pay with cash then I get a call at 11:49 and 11:50 at night on a Tuesday and have to be up at 5am and when I tried to ring back it would not let me as its a temp number so I did not get much sleep thinking who is trying to ring me in the middle of the night then 2 days later I have someone at my gate at 6:30pm unannounced asking for for the money so all of this and I had to pay the bill then get given incorrect change and it was in mostly 20p's not very organised when your a delivery driver? And not even have what I want and they did nothing to put it wright. this is the most unprofessional takeaway I have ever experienced highly NOT recommend

Smelt of faeces!! it was absolutely revolting. I took a bite and nearly threw up. We are extremely concerned and disappointed of the experience we have had especially when we order from here all the time. It is quite alarming the response from the restaurant. We were not offered a refund, we even asked them to pick the order up so they could see and smell exactly what we were talking about. Instead the said they are closing so they cannot. However they offered an alternative to delivery us another half chicken. Which makes no sense, if they can deliver then why can’t they take back the chicken they gave us. They also went on to tell us they have changed their sauce which is why it smells. It was absolutely disgusting, I feel as though my food was compromised and I am furious I cannot believe the experience I have had tonight. I would like this restaurant looked into throughly as I really don’t think they qualify to be on just eat.

Lovely food, the chicken was amazing. Would recommend the grilled chicken and the pizzas are so good.
