The Bake Shoppe - Windsor Heights

This charming little bakery is a must-visit! I tried the pink champagne cake for the first time, and it was absolutely delightful! The woman at the counter shared that it's the original recipe that inspired the store's creation, which I found fascinating. They also have a great selection of other treats, and my husband really enjoyed the cheesecake bites. I highly recommend stopping by for some delicious sweets!

I had some fantastic cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. They were decorated to look like ice cream and were incredibly moist. I highly recommend them!

When I picked up my cake, it was already on the table with my name on it. As I was about to take it, the lady there rudely told me that I shouldn't just touch things and that I needed to wait for assistance. I had already paid for it, and it was clearly marked with my name. Her demeanor was rude and unacceptable! I will never return to this place. I would advise others to take their business elsewhere!

This is the best Bakery in the Des Moines subway! They are so friendly and helpful! The best part in this place is that the cake looks lovely every time, but it TASTES also amazing! I love this place in Windsor Heights.
