My husband surprised me for Valentine's Day and brought me to my favorite restaunt Akasaka. In May 2020, it will take 28 years to feed in Akasaka. It was originally called Koto Buki when I first discovered Dougall in 1992. Then Steve changed the name and location and moved to Tecumseh, which I was really excited because it was only 4 minutes away from my home. Now he's back at the same place where Koto Buki was, but this time the Akasaka name. We still follow him after 28 years. Best Sushi in Windsor. Chef Steve did a great job tonight with dinner as usual. I ordered my favorite Chicken Katsu and Cali Mom roll, Chicken Tempura roll, and for appetizer shrimp tempura and herbal tempura. The food is always so fresh. I also ordered green tea and waitresses were very attentive to make sure it refilled and warm. The waitresses were very friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere is always beautiful and beneficial for conversations. Review by 2 years ago: Chef Steve and his employees do a great job with all their courts. For 25 years, this restaurant has gone. Food is always fresh and tasty. My favorite is the chicken catsu, shrimp empura and the veggie tempura. The decor is cozy and beautiful place to talk to friends.
Traditional sushi. The best you can get in the area. They use atlantic fish that tastier much more and melts on the tongue. The sushi cook was very knowledgeable and very friendly to speak. Had a great experience here and will return.
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. I ordered a variety of sushi for take out. Firstly spot on customer service. The chef thanked me for my order!! The food itself??? amazingly delicious and fresh. The roles were huge, the filling was substantial and the tempura was cooked to perfection. To be honest I was never a big sushi fan until now. I do not live in the Windsor area but if this place was near me in the Niagara area I would be a regular customer. BRAVO!!!
This is the go-to restaurant in Windsor for authentic Japanese cuisine. Their sushi is great, but also try their bibimbap! It is incredibly delicious and I get it every time. The inside is also very welcoming and friendly. Definitely try this place.
