Akkad Restaurant - Windsor

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and initially found it to be pricey. However, I must say that the quality of the food was excellent. While I'm not sure if it's better than Eddy's Bistro, the meal was truly enjoyable. I plan to dine in next time. I recommend giving it a try.

I absolutely love the kebabs at Akkad. The owner is very friendly and approachable. My family usually orders the family platter whenever we visit the restaurant.

Their food absolutely delicious. You can either take away or dine in. We had the akkad special which had pretty everything in the menu. It contains various cow and chicken meat food and a amazingly delicious rice. Also a trafitional soup which was also super tasty. I totally loved it. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photo since I lost my mind eating all of it. then we had a Turkish coffee but actually they make it slightly different from normal Turkish coffee which is they put cardamom in it while they cook it. This actually give a nice eesence to it and I absolutely liked it, too. But other than that it was the Turkish Coffee. As usual this coffee is a strong coffee so I recommend drinking it in the morning. Or if you want to get rid of drank state it is also effective.

Its a good place to eat Middle-Eastern cuisine. The service is good and fast. The only thing I disliked is the ambience. Overall, its a good value for money place with Great food.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and tasted like authentic Iraqi cuisine. The service was good and I particularly enjoyed their dolmas, mixed grill, and lentil soup.
