Grill 55 - Windsor

I travel a lot, I mean a lot. Eating at a hotel restaurant is hit or miss and mostly a miss. Not at Grill 55... totally a hit. It's one of the main reasons I stay at this hotel. The service is top notch. I usually eat in the bar section and Lynn makes it a treat every time. If I want a small substitution on a meal, other hotel restaurants make you feel like you have asked them to remove a limb. Not here, Lynn is accommodating and will make the offer quickly. It's obvious that customer service is a number one focus. The food is top notch. The menu changes, not often but they keep it new. I don't think in 20 years I have had the same "soup of the day" twice. The Spinach salad is one of the best I've ever had. Get it with the Cajun Chicken... you'll thanks me later. Steaks to Sandwiches...it's all great. I've been traveling here for over 20 years and Lynn and the 55 keep me coming back...well done!

We had the breakfast buffet. The eggs were tasteless. The homefries and pancakes were edible. I liked the bacon, the staff were friendly.

It's very nice to have a great restaurant inside a hotel. Grill 55 is inside the Holiday Inn, and offers variety of items. Very casual and the service is fantastic. I had ordered the fish and chips, made of lake Erie Perch. Something that you don't find too often. Absolutely delicious!

Our family stayed at the adjoining hotel to this restaurant for a sports tournament with our team this past weekend. Our first night we ate as a family here and the food was amazing, fresh and exceeded my expectations. I have not been to a grill type restaurant in a long time that has been so good. The server was so professional!We ordered room service the next morning and were equally impressed. The food, the service was 5 stars!Prior to coming to the hotel I was in touch with Jorleny and her staff in planning our team dinner. Jorleny answered my never ending questions promptly and professionally. She was so helpful in planning a great time for our team. The meal was fantastic! We will be back to this hotel next year and will most certainly use Grill 55 for our meals.

Fine dining with a bar atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They were able to tell me what is in each dish so I was able to avoid foods where I am allergic to the ingredients. It has been 8 years since I was at this hotel/restaurant. The same wait staff is working there as worked back then, and they kind of remembered me. Thanks Lynn and everyone at Grill 55, see you on my next visit.
