What a fantastic place to enjoy traditional Kosher lunch or dinner....Every dish is delicious and well prepared!!We order from Mazal ( the chef) food for holidays and whenever we have guests for dinner!!!Everybody love the food at Mazal's restaurant! We also order freshly backed Challa bread for Holidsys or Shabbat. The Challa bread is so good ... I call it addicting!!!A must visit place for a very enjoyable Dinning.
I think this is one of the few places in Windsor that serves Kosher food. The restaurant style is old, frozen in the eighties, but it is cozy, and people are cheerful. Everything tastes like is made from scratch, the crispy fish was wonderfull and bouef bourguignon tasty. Prices is not high, and dish size is fair. I will come back.
This is a #1 place for Kosher food in the Detroit / Windsor area!Mazal is a very good Chef, her food is always fantastic. The portions are very nice, for sure you will not leave hungry!!!Mazal takes orders for special events, she has a nice verity of dishes on her menu.If you like. A nice delicious Challah bread for Shabbat... don't think twice... order it from Mazal!!! You will become educated!!!
My family visited Point Pelee National Park from Toronto on Sunday, August 28. We decided to go to Windsor for dinner since it was the closest location with a Kosher restaurant. I had checked the hours online and planned our day around having dinner at the restaurant. However, when we arrived, we found it closed, despite there being no indication on their website that they would be closed on Sundays. It really disrupted our plans, but luckily we had packed extra snacks that held us over until we returned to Toronto around 10:30pm. We are looking forward to trying the food in the future, but if you are in the Windsor area and require kosher options, make sure to have a cooler packed with food in case the restaurant is unexpectedly closed.
