Piccolo's - Windsor

The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing. While there may be a long wait, it is to be expected considering the high quality and freshness of the dishes. The portion sizes are large and the quality is excellent. I don't understand how some people can leave poor reviews!

Not recommended for those watching their weight, but incredibly delicious! This is the top restaurant in Windsor. Don't be put off by the plain decor - I was, until I tried the food. Absolutely amazing! I was in a food coma for sure. The service is excellent, although the food takes a while to come out because EVERYTHING is made from scratch, which results in insanely delicious food. The portions are huge, so don't worry about the price - you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered a plate of pasta and it lasted me for the next 3 days. I wish I had some right now. Holly's is awesome!

Old Time Pizza at Piccolo's offers a pizza that reminds me of the ones I enjoyed in my childhood. The homemade dough creates a delicious crust, topped with real pepperoni and a flavorful sauce. While the pasta and other dishes on the menu seem enticing, I have trouble trying anything else because the pizza is so good.

Very disappointed in how this place has gone downhill under new ownership. There were six of us for dinner. We all ordered drinks and appetizers. When it came to ordering dinner we weren't very hungry. The special of the night beef tenderloin with orzo, and vegetables. We saw it served at other tables. It was huge. Three of us wanted to split it. When we told the waitress she said we could share it but there would be a $10 plating charge. We reminded her we purchased four appetizers. She said there was still a plating charge. We agreed. Imagine our surprise when the meal came out in one huge container. When I reminded her that we were sharing it and we paid $10 for plating she said that was a service charge they didn't actually plate the food. Our bill for 6 was $450. It's beyond petty to charge for sharing a meal. It used to be one of our go to restaurants. That will likely be our last meal.

Stood for 15 minutes and ignored by staff who were trying to deal with unhappy customers. No fault of the staff as they were clearly under staffed. This place has a reputation for slow service and tonight cemented that for me. MacDonalds is a better alternative
