My wife and I could have shared their basic breakfast and been satisfied. The place is open and airy. Family run and the service was great. I'm a little picky when it comes to basic breakfast as it should be the simplest of all things to get right.Eggs over easy means to flip them once and be sure the whites are cooked. Not this time... really runny eggs. The Potato slices were a good idea but one side was burnt and the other slightly cooked.Their scrambled eggs were great and their eggs Benedict were amazing. But again to much for an average person. Their minimum breakfast is 3 eggs. I would have liked to see 1-2-3 options.Overall it was "OK". They Only take cash and the ATM runs off the same phone line as the business so you might have to wait for money. It would take a few visits to get the ordering down but I would probably visit again as the food is good , the service is great and no one rushes you at all. Very friendly. But the few hiccups ... I gave a middle of the road review. Get there before 11am... that's when the Bar opens and the locals crowd in :)Is it worth stopping for... Yes.
I have noticed this restaurant a few times while being downtown and finally decided to give it a try because it has a cool aesthetic. The food was incredible.
This spot is worth the wait. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
always something new to try but not overwhelming), and the staff is friendly. Cons: the prices are a bit high for lunch, especially considering the portion sizes. Overall, I would recommend Townhouse Detroit for a convenient and enjoyable lunch option.
