Thompson House - Windsor

Good atmosphere. Great service, very nice staff. Good choice of beers. Good bar food - especially like the chicken wings. One of my favorites in Windsor. We'll be returning.

They were extremely busy when we arrived. While it is understood that ticket times would be slower, what took place was very poorly handled. We were a party of 5. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated, which was understandable. We were able to immediately place our order once we were seated. About 10 minutes later a party of two was seated directly next to us. Despite this, their food arrived a good 10 minutes before ours. They ordered pretty much the same meals. We brought this to the attention of our Server, who explained that they sometimes take care of smaller parties first. At this point we requested to cancel our orders. Our Server said she would speak to her Manager. The Manager said they had new staff in the Kitchen, but promised to expedite the order. She also apologized and said she would have our bills adjusted to make amends. Food arrived with about a 45 minute ticket time. After finishing the meal the bills arrived, with no adjustments. Had it not been offered, it would not have been so bad. Their message was received loud and clear. In the future we will be sure to avoid the Thompson House and patronize establishments who want and value our business.

First time in to try it out was throughly impressed with everything including the food we had the fish tacos and the chicken sandwich both were delicious . Since we have been hearing about all the buzz from your bartender Scott we had to come in .. Good job on the decor as well love the wood look ... Will be recommending to all my friends and family .. The menu is perfect not so big like most places too much to read ... See u again

Great place. Went for my husband's birthday dinner and fell in love with this place. We had the fish tacos and the fish and chips. Delicious. Crispy fries. A great pub atmosphere will return!

I found this restaurant to be very expensive considering the quality of food served. I entered this restaurant expecting high class dining and high class food service. I was extremely disappointed to find the food was your basic everyday bar food and service was lacking. $20.00 for a frozen burger and fries is way over priced. It appeared while we were dining here that most of the patrons appears to be the local neighborhood drinkers.
