The Cafe At Terrace Downs - Windwhistle

On Saturday 10th we got married at Terrace Downs Resort. It was absolutely the most spectacular day and went totally without a hitch! Terrace Downs is the most magical setting to get married in! We arrived on Friday with all of our family, bridal party and friends for a relaxing start to the weekend. The boys went and played golf, while we drank wine and got manicures! The night of the wedding almost all of our guests stayed at Terrace Downs and joined us for brunch on Sunday, making our whole wedding span over three days which was the best decision we made! Being an hour and a half away from Christchurch encouraged our guests to make the most of the weekend and treat themselves to a luxury night away, but was still close enough to Home that others were able to come and go for the day. Thoroughly recommend! Ash who is the wedding planner at Terrace Downs is so organised, so lovely and was an absolute dream to work with!

I have been one of the main singers and musicians at Terrace Downs Golf Resort for nearly 5 Years and it’s been absolutely awesome The management and staff have always been number one and I highly recommend this place, enjoy Eddie Simon Recording Artist Acoustic Wave Records

Great food, great atmosphere and a wonderful trip out there even if you don’t play golf it’s worth the effort, the rooms are very comfortable and lovely views for anyone wishing to stay

Excellent place! I got married here and the staff were amazing. Everything was perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything else. My day ran smoothly because they were so efficient and well organised. They really looked after us. The food was amazing and the surroundings where stunning. A special thanks to Alison and Kara who helped organise our day and made it so memorable!
