Winfield Dairy Freeze

After taking care of some business at the Putnam County courthouse, I decided that I needed something, something for my tummy! I remembered that my dad liked going to the Winfield Dairy Freeze for the footlong WV hot dogs. A really nice American little nostalgic restaurant. However, I really wasn't in the mood for hot dogs and decided for the cheeseburger meal. It comes with French fries or onion rings and a drink. You do have a choice of fries, but, sorry, I didn't write them down in my journal! Since I had been in the cold, I wanted to warm up a bit and sat outside. So, the drive thru was out. I was asked if I wanted a dessert when ordering, only I was just not sure if I could eat it all and held up on it, even though the butterscotch sundae really did sound good. Anyway, the wait on the fresh burger took no time at all drive thru was a poppin'!! I enjoyed the meal and it was just right for me! I love the nostalgia of the inside dining area and took two small videos of it. I will be back for that Footlong, but will bring a sweater!

Good food, fast, clean, a nice place to just chill out

I don’t know who the younger girls working the window outside with glasses and banks but she was beyond disrespectful. Threw my card across the counter, asked her for ketchup then slams it down on the counter. I get my food and went to tell her thank you and she shuts the window in my face. Beyond disappointed will not go back agian.

Just spent 10 min in the drive thru and another 10 pulled to the side waiting f 3 hotdogs. After I “reminded,”them, I was still waiting, a girl walks Out hands me my bag, rolled her eyes and walks off.Won’t be back till they quit hiring kids who are more interested in tweeting than working.

Horrible! The mayo smelled sour on my burger. Plus the fries were old and the Grease definitely needed changed! Then after spending $18 on the food, the $5 worth of ice cream they gave me WAS LUDICROUS! Wasn't even 1 scoop let alone 2. I was beyond
