Chile rellenos: I have tried them everywhere I go, and have always been let down because they don't meet your (or my) standards. However, you make the BEST chile rellenos!! I can never get enough. Make sure to ask for this dish as it is not listed on the menu. The Mennonite style chicken noodle soup has a delicious homemade taste and is a classic in this area. Don't expect to find vegetables in your bowl, as they are not included in the ingredients. I have tried several other Mexican dishes at Del Rios and have enjoyed them all.

I have been a customer and an employee at this restaurant, and I only have positive things to say! The establishment is always clean, with outstanding food and service.

This is the best restaurant to enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine.

This was my first visit. It's a very nice and comfortable family restaurant. The food was excellent. The dining room was always kept clean. The service had somewhat to be desired. I noted that every other table had at least two people and the staff waited on them hand and foot while I was practically ignored. I was a solo diner. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I'm not sure what the problem is. Do servers think solo diners are less important because the tip will be smaller? If that's the thinking, servers are DEAD WRONG! It's about taking care of ALL customers, not just a select few. I hope the management read this review and fix the problem. I will visit again, however, if this happens again, I will do the same as I've done with other establishments this has happened: I will write a VERY BAD review, tell my friends and I won't ever go back.

I would normally have given this restaurant 4 stars but I am giving it a 5 to counteract the totally undeserved 1 star rating (how can you give a review when only look at the menu and don't even order any food? Really??? I had the Chile Rellenos which were quite good. The rice and refried beans were typical of Canadian Mexican restaurants... good but uninspiring. And this is Canada, where there aren't a lot of good Mexican restaurants.
