Beaujena's French Table - Winnipeg

Went to this restaurant a little while ago. It is expensive, very expensive but wow, the food is incredible. All the dishes are a mystery, so you have no clue what you are getting and that is a good thing. This way, you will try new things you would not have tried before. I tried duck hearts and sweetbreads for the first time, and I liked them! The waitress, I believe she is married to the cook, was excellent and very excited about the food which she passed on to us. The wine pairing, you have to pay extra, was excellent and again, we tried vermouth for the first time. It is pricey, but for an anniversary or that one time of the year to go out and splurge, this is the place.

It was an awesome experience for me and my friends. Food and wine was great, a definite adventure for our palates. Hostess and chef are very friendly and very hospitable, gives you the feeling of being a valued guest in their home. Thank you for the experience and for what you do! Amazing food, and experience is unlike anything you will find anywhere else.

Both the experience and the food were unique and fantastic. Each course was enjoyable and paired with a wine to highlight and enhance the flavours. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It’s intimate and unlike anything else I’ve experienced while eating out. 5 stars for the food, for the experience, for the chef, and for the host. I have nothing but great things to say about every aspect of our evening.

Amazing experience! This is not something that you can rush through and yet time flies by while you enjoy a dive course meal.
