Gami Sushi - Winnipeg

This sushi restaurant is fantastic! I often visit for lunch or takeout. For $7.99, you can choose two types of sushi which comes with edamame, orange slices, and a citrus salad. I've tried the avocado roll, dynamite roll, yam roll, and shiitake roll, all of which were delicious! For an additional $1.50, you can get some delicious miso soup. The service is top-notch, with friendly greetings from both the server and the chef. The prices are great, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

In my opinion, this is the best sushi restaurant in the city. The service is quick and the staff is fantastic. Make sure to try the Green Yam roll - it's a must! I have never been disappointed here and I simply love this place.

We dine at this restaurant frequently because it is conveniently located for us. The food is always fresh, delicious, and served quickly. The staff and chef are friendly and attentive. The sashimi is always fresh and there is plenty of it. Be sure to try the spider roll, you won't be let down!

We go here because it's SO close but also good. The first time I ordered from here (a few years ago  take away everything was good except the tuna titaki. (sp? We've ordered from here many many times since. It's always been quick and tasty. When I take away at lunch the restaurant is full.  The staff is super friendly. It  was quite nice when we ate in and had some beer and saki too.

These folks are very sweet and attentive. We go often as it is the closest place to us and they are always happy to see us. There are a lot of options on this expansive menu. They have great lunch deals as well as very attractive and innovative rolls. I'm a big fan of the tempura (shrimp or veggie), the agedashi tofu, and the diversity of options. Great local spot.
