Marigold Restaurant - Winnipeg

Ordered the dinner for three takeout. The vegetables, and dry breaded ribs were good. Unfortunately, the battered chicken balls and shrimp were heavily battered and were reduced to mush as they were drowned in sweet and sour sauce. My son refused to eat the mush, and I am diabetic and the sweet and sour sauce albeit good was so heavy I would have had a sugar reading that would have needed medical treatment! I don't know if I would order again. If I did I would demand sauce on the side!

I always order from them because of the value you get. It is worth the money. The food is full of flavour no matter what item you choose. Their lunch buffet is delicious. Takeout orders are a good portion size. You will not be disappointed with their food. You can also order no MSG which is fantastic.

We visited this restaurant last Sunday and all the dishes we ordered came out hot and quickly. The waitress was excellent, attentive and efficient. I highly recommend this place for its delicious food.

This Chinese restaurant has been in Winnipeg for many years and it just keeps getting better....very big portions. hot and tasty...... large selection of itmes so has something for everyone !! Fresh, tasty, clean and great service !!

Looking for quick food and a great variety. Hit the lunch buffet with a bowl of hot consommé and you won't be disappointed.
