Others around us who had the same waitress were as crazy as we did and ate fast and said they wouldn't come back. it is a thing to have new employees and another to not train or manage them when it is busy. I had to talk to the manager to get the attention for the service. I would recommend the kenaston moxies. No. the food was warm when we got it. the manager came by once and never came by to see how the dings were. when we went too late, I wanted to inform the manager about our experience and was not a ware to find. go to the keg on mcgillvary not to eat warm here and it would have been good if it had been served on time. we spent over $100 and will not be back. it was our first time to eat with friends from the city and we don't go back.
Stops at moxies kenaston for the day one of the burger week in winnipeg. beautiful that we chose this place. it was great. had not disappointed and paired with local little brown jug and we have a winner.
We visited Moxie’s on Saturday 8th july at 4:30 a.m. on the afternoon and sat on the terrace. the terrace was one of the most dirty I have ever visited. there was müll all over the place, serviettes and even a mask under the table where we sat....I came to our waitress about the dirtyness and the mask and said that maybe the cleaning staff did not appear overnight. her answer was “yes, I think so” the restaurant was not busy and could have been easily cleaned or reported to a manager, but no,Nothing was done and to complete it, everything from the mask was still under the table when we left. Newly important
Every time I come to this restaurant, I feel comfortable and welcome. eating is phenomenal, and the service great.
Our family (5 adults and two children) went to Moxie’s on Kenaston in Winnipeg , Canada, to celebrate a birthday. Service was prompt and staff were polite and accommodating. The 15 year old child ordered a meal that turned out to be very spicy which...she couldn’t eat. That meal was replaced with a different meal which was OK. Staff were happy to make the change with no extra charge. The cook was somewhat inexperienced so he inadvertently cook three strip loin steaks instead of 7 ounce sirloin steaks. The manager explained the mistake and asked us if this was acceptable for the same price as the sirloin. We accepted of course. The steaks were excellent and cooked medium rare as ordered. We all enjoyed the meals and the entire evening.
