North Garden has been one of our favourite Chinese restaurants. We have always ordered from there on New Year's Eve and the food has been very good. Their kung pao chicken is one of the best we have had. We have made many visits there for lunch over the years, staff has changed and so has the service. We arrived, were promptly seated and then ignored. Another couple came into the restaurant and were seated near us, they were promptly served as we were ignored and it was hard to get the attention of the server. I observed them clearing tables in the other room and they did not come back to see if we were ready to order. I was finally able to get the attention of one of the servers and placed our order.We had two different lunch specials. I did find the fried rice to be a bit tasteless but the lemon chicken was very good. The kung pao chicken has changed a bit over the years but was still very tasty.Service definitely needs to improve. At one time this restaurant was full and every table was filled, not so this visit.

Bad customer service, there is always hair,egg shell and unwanted stuffs in their fried rice. They like reducing the food. Any time i buy the fried rice reduces. likewise with the taste. sometimes it taste good other times very bad. I bought one today and it taste soon different . very bad.

My husband and I had lunch. Ginger beef. It was delicious, portion sizes were very generous. Friendly staff, great service. One of our favourite places for Chinese food when we come to the city. I would take friends there with no worries.

There dim sum is amazing. Especially the pork or shrimp rice roll. Supper is very good as well. One dish they have is called shrimp in miracle sauce. So good but not good for you.
