Rae's Bistro & Lounge - Winnipeg

I had the veal dish, came with mini potatoes and veggies. It was fantastic!! For dessert I had the Guinness Chocolate Cake, had to share this as it was so huge. The place was full when we were there and was not overly loud. You could have a conversation without shouting. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again.

I have been to Rae's Bistro many times now. The staff are super friendly and the food is awesome. Favourites are the bbq cream shrimp and the calimari. Also their desserts are fabulous... So tasty. Definitely would recommend this place.

My husband and I went to Rae's Bistro for Valentines dinner and it was absolutely amazing. Chef did an outstanding job on such a busy night, everything was tasty and hot. We started off with the chorizo dip which was so delicious along with a malbec wine and a gin passion berry mojito. My husband decided to choose 2 appetizers as his meal from off-the-wall and chose: braised short ribs mole along with moules et frites in Italian white wine. Definitely need to add the braised short ribs to the menu, they were so delicious! I had the pickerel and fries with a mouth watering gravy on the side. Everything was hot and tasted excellent. We finished the evening with dessert, Irish creme brûlée (my favourite dessert) and sex in a pan. They were both very good but we were quite full by that time to enjoy it completely! Service was amazing this time and Chef even came out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Keep up the great food and service, we will be back! Oh yeah and they even thanked us for having our Valentine's there by giving us a $10 voucher to use next time!

Ordered for pick up and everything was fantastic! The food was awesome and thoughtfully packaged (cold with cold, hot with hot). Mumbai #5 is my new favourite veggie burger!
