Feedback gevenThe customer service was awful. The staff lacked any semblance of friendliness. We encountered a problem where we were charged twice due to a malfunction with the machine. Even after showing the cashier our online banking statement, she refused to acknowledge the mistake and insisted that she was correct, denying us a refund. Communication was also quite difficult.
Farewell, Noodle Express, but long live Sam Po Dim Sum! I really miss the staff from Noodle Express, but the familiar menu and delicious food are all still here. I feel like too many people are overlooking this place. Personally, I don’t mind the customer service aspect as long as the food is good and arrives at my table promptly—that's what matters most to me. However, I’ve noticed others mentioning issues with service, but I’ve never experienced anything poor or rude here. Some of their standout dishes that you can't find anywhere else include deep-fried sticky rice, seafood dumplings, curry beef pierogies, beef balls, pan-fried pork dumplings, beef rice rolls, golden dumpling buns, and their house-made hot sauce.
I visited for dinner on a Tuesday and was seated promptly. The service was quick, and the portion sizes were generous! My sweet and sour pork was delightful, and I managed to get three meals out of that one serving. All our food arrived hot at the table. My only criticism is that it was a little chilly inside; next time, I’ll remember to bring a sweater!
I was going there for their 2pm happy hour. I showed up at 1:57pm and they sat me down. Then they asked if I’m here for happy hour, I said yes. The waiter asked me to leave the restaurant and come back in 3 minutes because happy hour isn’t for another 3 minutes. The restaurant was empty, no reason to ask customer to leave for 3 mins to return. I feel belittled and unwelcome. I left and will never return to this restaurant. I was a regular customer! Also only about 6-8 free parking spot, so be prepare to pay extra for parking.Parking: There are 6-8 free parking spot, the rest is paid parking, downtown rate!
Extremely unpleasant customer service. Given a wrong order and charged twice. MAY the cashier need a better training how to serve well. I asked for the owner and she said the owner cant speak English. I dont know if she is lying. But the food we ordered was Undercook pork dumplings. The parking very limited, stinky washroom no paper towel provided, dirty dishes especially the glass. The debit/credit machine need to be updated . If you want cheap food but terrible customer service that is what you will get from them. We are Not going back or order to this restaurant again.
