I really enjoy the customer service at Garden City Taco Time. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the tacos on Taco Tuesday are generously portioned—the best day of the week! Plus, the place is impeccably clean. Keep up the great work, Taco Time Garden City!

The food was fine, but be sure to get your receipt because they charged me $10 for a small Mexi fries. I realized this right after I tapped my card. When I brought it up, they insisted I wasn’t charged that amount and claimed the $4.41 tip they added wasn’t actually processed. I quickly checked my bank account and showed them my receipt, proving I was indeed charged that amount. It was frustrating trying to explain that I can read and understand what a tip is. While I waited for my food, I overheard them attempting to overcharge the guy behind me, too. I can’t help but wonder how many times they’ve gotten away with this kind of theft and fraud.

The staff were not wearing masks, and the food was underwhelming. The quesadilla was decent, but everything else was subpar!

This is a typical budget-friendly taco joint. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, this isn’t the right place, as it’s part of a chain. However, the food is decent for what it is. I visited with my husband and daughter for a quick lunch on their Tuesday special. We ordered six tacos, adding sour cream to three of them, and our total was under $10, which left us all feeling satisfied. The tacos were a good size, but I wouldn’t return on a regular pricing day, as I don’t think it would be worth the cost otherwise.

I've been to this restaurant a few times for a quick lunch, and while it’s satisfactory, it doesn’t stand out as exceptional. The tacos haven’t really appealed to me; I’ve tried both the hard and soft types. However, I do recommend the taco salad—it’s a fantastic choice when I want something a little different. The service has always been friendly and attentive during my visits.
