Johnny is new in town and you can say that the situation is new. The food was slow to get out even if I was the only one in the branch and I feel like the staff tried a bit too hard to work it here. The walls are very empty and the room is definitely unpleasant. I'm really worried about dinner. That said, in a city full of sandwiches I would have always thought that a restaurant in the style of Pita Pit really works well here. The Falafel is pretty good here and I will probably come back in a few weeks to see how things come together. Hopefully this place will stay here!
The first time at Johnny's today! Hubby and I had the Gyros and they were fantastic. My husband is a born and raised Chicago type, so he is very picky about this kind of food. He said Johnny passed the test and wished they had come into town earlier! Look forward to trying the beefs and Chicago dogs!
