Kfc - Winston Salem

Blind Trust Review: 4 out of 5 stars for service. The staff was friendly, and the food was accurate. The open kitchen design added to the experience, and the parking lot was clean. I believe every restaurant starts with a baseline of 3 stars in the Blind Trust Report. So how much can you truly trust a restaurant without prior experience? Each server earns 3 stars: a few things to contemplate. Overall Blind Trust Level: 5 out of 4 stars; service was transparent, and food preparation was partially visible.

Although the price of "cheap" fast food has risen significantly and often doesn't feel worth it, that's generally not the case with KFC. In fact, I prefer this location over other KFC branches in the area. The food is hot, the chicken is juicy, the fries are crispy, and the biscuits are soft. They also offer a delicious flavor of Mountain Dew (Lightning) that you can't find anywhere else. If you're in the area and craving fried chicken but don't want to add a bunch of healthy veggies to your meal, especially if you're short on time, definitely swing by and grab a bite!

The woman at the drive-thru was extremely friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, and I can see why they have such a high rating—Grade A. I will definitely be back!

I placed an online order for pickup, but when I arrived, I was told that my order had already been picked up. The staff member said that they had prepared the order and that there was nothing they could do about it. The manager also came over and claimed it was a DoorDash delivery. She wouldn’t even look at my confirmation email. A $32 order was given to someone else for free! They said that once an order is placed online, they make it and simply wait for it to be picked up. Whoever picks up the order should receive the food!

This KFC had been closed for a long time due to a fire. I believe they had to hire a new staff to reopen. The service is now average, which isn't great. The food is okay, but with more time and experience, I think it could improve. I hope it does!
