Panera Bread - Winston Salem

So I ordered breakfast through the Panera app for delivery. When the driver got here (they deliver through Door Dash , he did not have the 2 smoothies that went with my order. When questioned, the driver stated they did not hand him any drinks, only the bag. I know this is not right, because I usually pick up my own orders in the morning, and they have the to go orders setting by the door and you just grab and go. So I called the Panera store. Hannah (sorry if I am spelling it wrong! answered the phone, super friendly and very understanding. After I explained what happened, she said she was actually the catering coordinator and was heading over to main campus (which is a couple miles from where I am located and she would bring me my smoothies. She was supper kind from the very start of the phone call, all the way through when she delivered my drinks. Very helpful, and pleasant! She did not have to bring me my order, she could have very well made any other decision (cancel my order, make me wait for another door dasher, etc. but she did not, she went ABOVE and BEYOND her job duties, and her customer service skills are impeccable. THANK YOU HANNAH!!!!! <3

I had the steak and arugula sandwich for lunch today. It was wonderful! What a great healthy sandwich. I would love to know what they do to their onions. They were sweet like they had been marinated in dressing or something. Yummy! Very fresh too! It was my first time eating at this location. I haven't eaten at Panera in a couple of years.

The food overall was enjoyable, and I appreciated the recommendations. I tried the autumn squash soup, but I wasn't particularly fond of the pumpkin seeds mixed in. Additionally, they served a lot of bread, but it was cold and quite hard.

I’m a member of Sip Cup, and the last time I went to get a diet soda, I found out someone was working on the soda fountain. I had to settle for something else, which was fine, but I really don’t like having to rely on alternatives all the time.

I came to do some studying and wanted to get a coffee (it?s very cold) and something sweet. I am SO glad that i looked in the window before ordering any desserts because there was a roach crawling through the desserts. this is so unfortunate.
