Wutyasay Food Truck - Winston Salem

Poor business planning. Booked this truck a month in advance and the evening of our event, they didn't show up. Called to ask where they were and was informed they double booked and would not be coming to us. The other event come to find out was downtown W-S, so they likely saw the extra and ran with it. Perhaps it was an honest mistake, but it put our entire event in a tough spot.

#1 best thing about this place DEEP FRIED collards, egg roll style. Absolutely delicious, 5 diff kinds of cheese with grated cheese on top. One of the best things I've ever eaten; wife can't stand collards, but she hammered down on hers. Cannot wait to see this truck again. The service could have been faster, but it was super hot outside so I know the truck was blazing. I liked their 10 minute catch up breaks as it allowed the backlog of people to get their orders complete and feel prioritized. Overall about 30 35 minutes from stepping in line at spot 5 food ready. Thank you!

They did the food for my niece’s birthday party. I enjoyed the fried fish, the mac-n-cheese and green beans. Others raved about the collard greens the fried collard greens. My daughter enjoyed the fried shrimp. The corn dogs were good too. Will definitely take any opportunity to enjoy their food again!

There should be an option for 6 out of 5 stars. As much as I crave the shrimp and chicken, the greens and mac-cheese are so amazing that the sides were my 1st order. Then I saw someone's shrimp and went to put in a 2nd order for some of my own. The portions are generously more than enough for 2 meals. Heart and soul are integrated into each heavenly bite!
