It's conveniently located next to several dining spots, making it an ideal place for a quick drink with friends before or after dinner.
I really enjoyed my paloma! The atmosphere was relaxed, and the 50s decor added a charming touch. It's conveniently located between an art bar and a Mexican restaurant, which makes it even more appealing. The staff was lovely as well.
As for parking, there are several spots right in front of the entrance. The best address to use is 840 Manly Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 (thank you for that tip, fellow Yelp leader Erik), but there’s plenty of parking available at the mill, and it’s a short walk from any parking area. The atmosphere is very cozy and casual with a hint of quirkiness (in a good way). It has a nice neighborhood bar vibe, and the decor is unique and eclectic, making it fun to explore. There isn’t a huge amount of seating, but there’s enough for small to medium-sized groups. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to this place for hosting a private party for the Yelp Elite squad. We definitely tested their capacity limits, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and remained calm. As for the drinks, that’s what they do best here. They’re a brewery with straightforward, quality brews. I particularly enjoyed their helles lager, which is light and refreshing. They also have a full bar, and I don't think I’ve seen a brewery offer such a wide variety of options. Regarding customer service, my first visit was during the event I mentioned, and the staff was fantastic. Since then, I’ve returned a few times, and the service has consistently been excellent. No matter how busy they are, we’re always acknowledged quickly and served in a timely manner. I hope this place continues to grow while maintaining the charm that keeps us coming back for more.
What do you call a brewery taproom that's long on style, has a downturn chill vibe, a super cool bartender, delicious beers, Yugioh ok the Telly and smooth R&B and Hip Hop keeping it real? I call it Hoots Taphouse. And the real question is...why aren't you here right now enjoying a beer like you know you should? A kaleidoscope like this is meant to be enjoyed! Get down here!!
Cute and kitschy not a huge space indoors but lovingly restored manufacturing building what a great use and done perfectly very comfortable!!!! Large beer selection of Hoots brewed beer (we are partial to the Creekside Hazy IPA) as well as bottled and canned domestics, seltzers and a full liquor bar. Friendly bartenders. Outdoor seating! No food on premises but occasional food truck. Can also easily order and pickup from The Porch next door or pick up from That Place in West End on your way in.
