The Grille At Deacon Tower

I was a former WFU Staff Member and this was my going away party. The staff was all new but there weren't enough of them to be able to handle the 8 or so tables. The food was nothing to write home about, but I know that the previous management struggled here as well. Maybe a different concept would be better, I wish I could share better news. I have always thought it was a unique location with great potential.

It's been a few years since we were in the deacon grille and they have changed their own! and it shows! the service was very slow and the food was quite moderate!

Our department went for a lunch break. we all have the buffet. It was okay. the salmon and the chicken were dry and the rice was not thoroughly cooked. the carrots were very hard and all left them on their teller. salat was good and the service was good.

It is a great experience to eat there at lunchtime. the service was fantastic; but it took us an hour from the time we reached there until we left. I understand that nothing is precooked and everything is made to order. we had the time and had been there before, so we knew that it would take a while and it worked with our business lunchtime schedule this day. we would go to dinner more often if it were a bit faster. all in all it is a great experience. it looks over a beautiful stadium, everything is clean and untouched. thanks for a great job!

Our team had a Christmas dinner here. it was a perfect option for the big group (14, as we had practically the place for us. the room is large and you can not hit the view (at least for a wake forest fan: . while there were a few asking with an order, the staff was very quick to try to correct them, and at the end all enjoyed their meal. sizes are plentiful so they also have rest for dinner.
