Big Bear Lodge - Winter

Staff was very friendly and funny, had a great atmosphere. Food and drink were delicious. I am obsessed with French onion soup and it was some of the best that I have ever had! And the **** mary was on point!

Food was excellent,but when we first walked in,the bartender looked at us with no acknowledgement,we stood there for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us.Teach your staff to be friendly when someone walks in,even if they can't get to us right away.

Very poor meal. Had shrimp. It was obviously dumped frozen from a bag into a fryer and overcooked. No prep. No taste. Place sure has gone downhill !

If you are looking for a Fish Fry on a Friday night or Prime Rib Dinner on Saturday this is the place to go in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Don't forget to try their liver dumpling soup and homemade cheesecake.

This was our first visit to the Big Bear Lodge, and after enjoying the Thursday Surf and Turf special I'm sure we will go back. The menu is small but the food was good and our server did an excellent job.
