Feedback gevenWhen I got home, I found that the subs were completely saturated in sauce, with it dripping out and obscuring the meat. One of the subs was supposed to have "less mayo/mustard"—their idea of light sauce—but it was also drowning in condiments. The situation was so bad that I had to call and request replacements for two of the four sandwiches. The sauce had made the bread soggy, so scraping it off wasn’t an option. When I returned to have them remake the sandwiches, I simply asked for no sauce to avoid the same issue. I also opted to skip the veggies on the remakes since the vegetables in the bins looked terrible—wilted spinach and brown lettuce. The restaurant was empty, with not a single customer inside, and the dining area was messy, with trash on the floor. Overall, I was very disappointed with this experience and will not be returning to this location. There were just too many issues for me to overlook. I tried calling multiple times over the next two days. Finally, on Wednesday, September 20th, I got through to someone who spoke to me as if I were foolish. She claimed I should have canceled the order online, but I couldn't do that since it had already been processed. She also informed me that, although I had a receipt, they don’t print receipts for online orders; the system just sends them automatically. I know that the receipt is supposed to print when the customer picks up their order and is charged. The representative mentioned she would have to contact the owner, who apparently is reluctant to issue refunds. I feel the same way—I don’t want to pay for something I didn’t receive. Now it’s the following day and I still haven’t received a callback. I’ve called several times today but have not been able to reach anyone. Since I don’t drive, I haven’t had a chance to go to the store myself, but I plan to visit tomorrow. I also submitted a complaint to Subway and have not received a response. This situation has been incredibly disappointing, as well as the overall lack of customer service I’ve encountered.
