Chuy's Taqueria - Winters

It's typical taqueria food but super tasty and done well. Can't say there is one thing I've tried that I can't recommend. The carnitas crispy flour tortilla tacos are to die for.

Their carnitas burritos barely have any carnitas. They're like 70% Beans, 20% rice, and 10% carnitas. Unfortunately, this has been the case for every carnitas burrito I've ordered over the past couple of months ~10 burritos). Good carnitas, bad value.

Food was great. Salsa need some work but overall I was satisfied.

This place is not playing around with their super burrito. I got it wet with adobada and it was made with mostly meat inside. Be prepared to be rolled home, as it is easily 2 meals. Eh, it's ok. Had a cool little outdoor patio.Maybe i'm spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed.First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear.Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side.Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol.In closing, I'm sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don't see me coming back.One thing that was kind of funny was one of the staffers didn't know what Ketchup was haha.
