Stone Creek Grill - Winthrop Harbor

We visited for Mother's Day and were pleased to find that this was the only restaurant willing to accommodate a reservation for 13 people. Other places in the area either didn’t return our calls or turned us down. However, this restaurant turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the decor was delightful. They provided a separate room for our group, which was fantastic because it allowed the kids to be themselves without disturbing anyone else. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed a fantastic meal, and our waitress was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. The drinks were large, although they weren’t very strong. We loved the ambiance, especially the design, the fireplace, and the cozy feeling of being in a lodge nestled in the woods. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

This is a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful, almost woodland setting! The service is consistently excellent, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of choices, all of which are delicious. The pizza is above average, and the fish fry is exceptional! It’s especially nice to enjoy a meal with the fireplace lit. There’s also a lovely cozy bar. Apologies for not sharing any food pictures – everything was so good, and I was really hungry!

The owner was engaging and personable, he gave customer service that used to be the standard in Chicago. I ordered 37$ worth of food and feel like I received more value. Very clean environment with great staff!

What a great experience. I was just under 5 hours of drive time to enjoy lunch in your establishment. It was worth every minute of it. We were a table of 5 and all ordered something different, and all were happy. Restaurant bathroom clean. Our server Angie was FANTASTIC, so personable and met every need. Thank you for a lovely experience.
