Viking Pub - Winthrop

My wife and I were the only customers in the restaurant. We placed our orders, but my specific instructions for my dish were not followed correctly. While my wife enjoyed her meal, I had to wait for my food to be remade. The overall experience was mediocre, and we likely won't be returning for another visit.

The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was relaxed. The bartender, Sean, was excellent! I will definitely return. It's convenient to have a reliable place just around the corner.

I recently visited Viking on my first night in Boston and accidentally walked in when they were supposed to be closed for a private event. Instead of turning me away, the staff welcomed me like a friend, served me drinks, and prepared a delicious plate of homemade food. I immediately felt at home and enjoyed the good drinks, delicious food, and impeccable service. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Made to feel very welcome and the food and choice of drinks was great. Decor was how a Sports Bar should look. Highly recommended

Lots of TVs and pinball machine, pool table and other games. I’ve only been in twice and both times the owner was working the bar. He was super nice and remembered my name even though it was a month since he met me for the first time. Check this place out!
