The John Masefield - WIRRAL

I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions and the food is consistently delicious. During my last visit, I ordered the chargrilled lemon and herb half chicken, along with a mini warm cookie dough sandwich topped with ice cream. The price of £11.10 for a meal, drink, and dessert was definitely reasonable.

Got to admit I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly suprised when I popped in for breakfast, ordered the biggest one they had everything was tasty and hot and even did my eggs well done like i asked, tasty bacon and sausage and black pudding as well, coffee was unlimited refills which I thought was great will certainly go back

A great meeting place, centrally placed for public transport. Excellent range of cask and real ales.

Table service only so waited 10 minutes before I could attract a passing member of staff to take our order. Then it was another 20 minutes before the drinks arrived. The place was only half full and staff were working hard so I think its a management issue. Only 1 person behind the bar that you're not allowed to go to.
